Ida Rose Deutsch

Ida was one of my mother Rose’s only two first cousins. They were very close over the years. At one point they worked together at the same accounting firm. In many ways they were more like sisters.

Ida was a part of our lives growing up. Unfortunately my mother disappointed Ida at the end of her life and they were estranged at the time of my mother’s
passing on 7/20/1995.

I saw Ida again a few years ago with her niece Beth and she expressed her regret for cutting herself off from my mother.

Ida was a beautiful woman in her day and a kind person. May her memory be an abiding blessing. Her cousin, Ellen

Ida and Al really loved their family. Ida would call Mitch every week, and they would come out and visit several times a year. I really liked her salmon patties and kugel.
